A look back to early social

I love Facebook memories. I have 16 years of them. The other day I was reminded that I started a blog way back in 2008, titled Lexy Martin, Quilter and Survey Lady. I want to integrate those posts into redirecting.work as they tell a story of what was going on in the world of HRTech for seven years (2008 - 2015). They also integrated my personal life, filled with global travel talking about the survey results and my creative work, which at the time was a quilting passion. I even had posts at the intersection of HCM and quilting. And, I had a post right after my first retirement on early social -- when people met together rather than on line. Those were the good old days when we met in someone's home and discussed topics without an agenda to sell a technology. Instead, we brought together practitioners, consultants, and vendors, to figure out how to implement in a way that served employees and the employer. LinkedIn is today's substitute and honestly, I think our early group took action better than most of us do based on a LinkedIn post and discussion. Wouldn't it be great to have salon discussion groups again?
Today's photo is of a stone path in Muxia in Galicia, Spain, picture by Steve Hunt, soon to be spotlit. I chose this one to illuminate this post as the topic of change management in that final post is one that is such a solid fundamental to technology adoption success as that road is.
